Among the actively traded securities were the 2-year central government security maturing in 1998, the 91- day treasury bills, the 364-day treasury bills and the public sector bonds. The zero-coupon security maturing in 2000 saw a deal worth Rs 10 crore to be settled after one day. This was followed by another trade for Rs 5 crore in the same security. The deal, which is to be settled the same day, was struck at 14.04 per cent. The 91-day treasury bills maturing on November 16 was traded for Rs 10 crore at 9.35 per cent. The 364-day treasury bills maturing on July 4 was traded for Rs 7 crore at 12.65 per cent. Another one-year paper to be traded in the segment was the T-bill maturing on July 18. The deal, which is to be settled after one day, was struck at 12.63 per cent.
