IND vs SL | 1st Test | Day-1 | Stumps | Live Updates: What to expect from Day-2
The Indian team would be looking to get at least 75-100 more quick runs from their lower order, especially if Ravichandran Aswin and Ravindra Jadeja, both of whom are currently unbeaten, stay at the crease a bit longer. Post that, Rohit Sharma would then look to declare the innings after getting past the 450 run mark.
From Sri Lanka's point of view, Dimuth Karunratne would want his bowlers to forget what Rishabh Pant did to them in the last session, come fresh tomorrow and get India all out quickly, ideally before they reach the 400 run mark. Post that, he and the likes of Angelo Matthews, Lhiru Thirimanne and Pathum Nissanka should get going.
