ISL 2018-19: Dorronsoro rescues point for Delhi Dynamos against Chennaiyin

The draw leaves Delhi with three points and they sit in the eighth spot of the points table while Chennai are second-last in the ninth spot with just a solitary point from their opening four games

Minute 48 -- Raphael brings the ball to the box and lays it off in Salom's path. Salom, with only the goalkeeper to beat, shoots wide of the post

Half-time report: The net of the goal posts at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi are yet to bugle with neither Delhi Dynamos FC nor Chennaiyin FC able to score a goal in the first half. 

 

The home team might feel more aggravated since they had the better chances to break the deadlock. The best chance though came seconds before the half-time whistle when Chhangte put in a fine cross for Kaludjerovic who was unmarked, but the striker's powerful header was straight at the hands of a great Karanjit.

 

Except for a couple more good chances, Delhi haven't done much in terms of creating chances, neither have Chennai although the gameplay hasn't been as bad as the scoreline would suggest. Both teams are missing teeth upfront. A few substitutions and the ticking time in the second half might bring in some urgency in the players. For now, there's not much to report

Minute 45 -- What a chance for Delhi! Chhangte is released down the left and he puts in a great cross with Kaludjerovic getting a free header but it's straight at the hands of Karanjit. What a escape for Chennai and what a chance fluffed for the home team

Minute 35 -- Thoi Singh makes a lung-bursting run down the left wing and has two of his team-mates making a run down the middle but his cross is overhit.

Minute 32 -- Inigo Calderon makes the block! Mihelic gets the ball on the right and drills in a low cross with Kaludjerovic in tow of a tap-in except that Inigo makes the much-needed interception
