Half-time report: In the game against Jamshedpur, Bengaluru have taken the lead at the stroke of half-time, courtsey a wonderstrike by Indian youngster Nishu Kumar from some distance.

 

The game in the first half had been sterile with sparse chances created as both teams played a less risk-less reward game.  

 

Bengaluru did well to get their players in advanced positions but their crossing failed them time and again. They also fancied some shots from distance but to no avail, except for that one shot which Kumar struck in the 44th minute to give his team a 1-0 lead right before the break.

 

The goal should give both team an impetus to push more men forward. Bengaluru would certainly like another goal to calm their nerves while the visitors would push for an equaliser. In any case, the game is hopefully much more active in the next half and that both Tim Cahill and Sunil Chhetri deliver the goods.
