Here's what Mathew Hayden said about Sharjah pitch

They're more difficult to bat in than Abu Dhabi and Dubai. In terms of pace lost off the pitch, Sharjah is 0.75m to a metre slower. Batting will be difficult in the middle stages, so expect fireworks on the powerplay. There isn't much grass to keep the surface together, and there are some bare patches and rolled mud. Fast bowlers will try cross-seamers, which will cause a few to slip off the leather and others to take off after hitting the seam, making life difficult for power hitters outside of the powerplay. It's a must-win game for KKR, and they'll need their top-order to perform if they want to beat DC.
