The lunch has been taken at the TATA IPL 2022 Auction and in the morning session so far, 22 players have been picked by 10 teams together and now the total number of players bought combined with those bought at Day1 reaches 96

 

Liam Livingstone has been the costliest player so far at 11.5 Crore after the was bought by Punjab Kings. The squad size of many teams hasn't been filed and thus the post Lunch session which begins after 45 minutes from now, will see heavy bidding as well.

Navdeep Saini is attracting bids from Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals after the opening bid came from Lucknow Super Giants

 

The bidding started at 75 Lakhs and RR have taken it to 220 Lakhs

 

MI and RR are going for the fast bowler from Delhi who has played for India and was also a member of the Indian team on the recent South Africa tour and is currently a part of the team as well

 

At 260 Lakh, the bid is with Rajasthan and at that price they have him

Bidding starts for the player who on the back of a great IPL season broke into the Indian national team last year and was on tour with the team in Sri Lanka

 

He is sure to get more than his base price of 50 Lakhs and has already gone past 110 Lakhs

 

And the price of Sakariya moves to 150 Lakh 

 

The battle moves from being between RCB and RR it is now between DC and RR and the price has moved to 260 Lakh

IPL 2022 Auction Live Day 2: Duhsmantha Chameera goes to Lucknow for 2 cr

 

The tall and lanky pacer from Sri Lanka who was bought by Banglore last season is attracting bids from RCB and Lucknow and has moved past the 160 Lakh mark after starting at Rs 50 Lakh

 

Chameera can bowl very fast normally touching the 140 KMPH mark and can also tonk a few sixes as he is no mug with the bat

 

And at 200 Lakhs, Lucknow have Chameera

And after a break of 10 minutes, the auction resumes and after Ishant Sharma went unsold as the first bid post break, the teams are now bidding for Khaleel Ahmed 

 

Starting at 50 Lakhs, Ahmed moves to 170 Lakh as Mumbai and Delhi go for it to acquire the services of the left-arm fast bowler from Rajasthan

 

Khaleel who is being bid at 240 Lakh currently, was part of SRH last season. He was also part of the Ishan Kishan led India U19 team 

 

And now Khaleel moves to 440 Lakh. The pacer who can swing the ball both ways, especially bring back to the right-handers, played for India in the 2018 Asia Cup 

 

At 525 Lakh, the bid is with Delhi Capitals and they finally have him at that price
