IPL 2022 SRH vs RR Live Score | Umran Malik & Abdul Samad, the Kashmiri flavour in IPL

The Indian Premier League will have Kashmiri flavour to it courtesy tow Kashmir born players who were retained by the Sunrisers Hyderabad. Umran Malik, the pace bowler was even called to the India camp as a net bowler for the T20 World Cup while Abdul Samad has done well too.

In fact, since the last IPL Umran has played three First-Class games picking 7 wickets for his state Jammu and Kashmir while in four T20s, part of the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy,  he took six wickets in only two of them while in the other two he was wicketless.

Samad on the other hand has played three First Class, 5 List A and four T20 matches and has overall scored 395 runs in 14 innings at an average of 30.38. Among these 14 innings, there was a List A hundred against Puducherry as well.

IPL 2022 SRH vs RR Live Score | Yashasvi hasn't really fired in T20s

Though Yashasvi Jaiswal is considered someone who could play for India for a long long time in the coming years, his numbers in the shortest format haven't really been up to the mark. In the 23 T20s that the 20-year-old has played, he has breached the 50 run mark only once and the average is also dismally poor at 19.

However, in the List A games, he averages almost 50. It is this reason why he is believed to be a protege. But, he now needs to convert the 50 Over stats in T20s too.

IPL 2022 SRH vs RR Live Score | How will Yashasvi Jaiswal fare?

While Nicholas Pooran is the man to watch out for Sunrisers Hyderabad, the entire unit of Rajasthan Royals will be expecting Yashasvi Jaiswal, the wonderboy from the U-19 World Cup 2020 to come good this time around. In the last IPL, the left-hander performed in only a few matches and was seen getting stuck in the middle in longer innings.

Nicholas Pooran was bought for Rs 10.75 cr in this year's auction by the Sunrisers Hyderabad. The reason was basically his three fifties against India in the then-ongoing T20 series.
