Lucknow have taken the Powerplay in totality as they have not lost even a single wicket and have managed to score 48 runs which means they now need only 102 of the remaining 15 overs at less than 7 runs per over with 10 wickets in hand a de Kock at the crease who has been firing all cylinders. Mustafizur is the only one who has bowled decently. 

 

In his two overs, the Fizz has gone for just 8 runs while the rest of the bowlers have been hit for 40 in the remaining four overs

LIVE LSG vs DC: de Kock clobbers Nortje, hits 19 runs in his first over

 

 

Quinton de Kock has here literally clobbered and painted Anrich Nortje green with humiliation as he has hit for three boundaries in a row and two of them were brilliant straight drives down the ground. Nortje was brought in by Pant with an expectation to take wickets and he has been taken for runs like anything here 
 

Six!! Some more runs as this time it was short of good length from Nortje and his compatriot de Kock hit it over deep square leg for a huge six. So far 18 runs from the over with one ball to go and it is a single to finish the over, 19 come from it. Lucknow are 45/0 after 05 overs

Lalit is back for the second over to0,  suggesting it was not just one shot attempt by Pant to try and get de Kock out and that he will go all the way with his off-spin ploy if required. 

 

Four!! It was too short from Lalit and all de Kock needed to do was rock back and pull it over short mid-wicket for a four.

LIVE LSG vs DC: Poor finish from the Capitals, end at 149/3 in 20 overs

 

The Delhi Capitals were not able to get going in the last three overs, which are considered death overs to be chased on to as they could get only 19 off the last 18 balls and neither among Sarfaraz Khan and Rishabh Pant could get the ball going to the boundary. 

 

In the end, the Capitals finished at 149/3 with Sarfaraz at 36 off 28 balls and Pant at 39 off 36 balls, very much contrary to his style of play. Lucknow will now need 150 runs to win in the 20 overs

Rishabh Pant has finally got a four from this Avesh Khan over which was going nicely as of now and on the third delivery the boundary has come and Delhi would now hope to make it a good over 

 

But it is going opposite to the expectations the net three balls, Avesh has bowled magnificently, utilizing all his experience of playing with Pant, and has bowled three dot balls. Three dots in the 19th over as Avesh Khan has been that good
