Vishal Bhardwaj and Abozar Mighani a potent combo in defence

• Neither of them were retained, but the team managed to get them back using the FBM card in the auctions. 
• Vishal Bhardwaj was brought back with the team spending 60 lakhs on him. He finished PKL 6 with 60 tackle points with an outstanding tackle SR of 63. His average of 3.5 tackle points per match was the 3rd-best in PKL 6.
• He also had 5 High 5s to his name and was one of the most lethal defenders in the league.
• Iranian right corner Abozar Mighani was also bought back by the team in the auctions. Clearly valuing the Iranian highly, the team spent 75 lakhs on him to secure his services for a second consecutive season. The team used it’s FBM option on him. 
• Abozar finished PKL 6 with 56 tackle points with an average of 2.7 tackle points per match. He also had a high tackle SR of 57, making Telugu Titans the only team to have two defenders with tackle SR > 55 in PKL 6. 
• Telugu also retained their Iranian cover defender Farhad Milaghardan to keep their core of their defence intact for this season.
