U MUMBA ALL-ROUND STRENGTH
U MUMBA ALL-ROUND STRENGTH
• U Mumba are the only team to currently be in the top 3 in both average raid points per game as well as average tackle points per game.
• It highlights why they have been so good and they really don’t have a weakness in either department. That’s why teams have found them so tough to beat.
• In addition, U Mumba also have 2nd best tackle SR in PKL 6.

WILL MUMBA CONTINUE WITH ABOLFAZL?
WILL MUMBA CONTINUE WITH ABOLFAZL?
• Iranian raider Abolfazl Maghsodlou is one of the tallest raiders in PKL. He has played 3 matches so far for U Mumba.
• After missing the team’s opening game, Abolfazl played in U Mumba’s second game of the season against Jaipur Pink Panthers and did not have a good game (0 points from 5 raids).
• His late arrival to the country and lack of match fitness was cited as the reason for his poor performance.
• U Mumba didn’t play him for the next two games, but he returned to the starting 7 against Puneri Paltan and has played the last two games for U Mumba. He has still looked far from impressive.
• Abolfazl has scored only 4 raid points from his 3 matches and has a very poor strike rate of 17.
• In the game against Pune, Mumba went with him and Rohit Baliyan as backup raiders and against Telugu Titans they went with him and Abhishek Singh. Despite winning both games, Abolfazl’s form will be a worry for U Mumba.
• Rohit Baliyan and Abhishek Singh meanwhile have been very good in supporting Siddharth Desai. Both average more than 3 raid points a match and have healthy raid strike rates as well.
• U Mumba have the 2nd best average raid points this season (23.5) and much of that has been because all of their raiders have fired. The only exception has been Abolfazl.
• Rohit Baliyan and Abhishek Singh supporting Siddharth Desai looks U Mumba’s best raiding combination.

PATNA PIRATES: RAIDERS DOING THEIR JOB WITH MANJEET A BRIGHT SPARK
PKL 2018, DAY 18, Match 2: Patna Pirates vs U Mumba
PATNA PIRATES: RAIDERS DOING THEIR JOB WITH MANJEET A BRIGHT SPARK
• The Patna Pirates started the season with a loss to Tamil Thalaivas. But debutant Manjeet showed his potential in that defeat with 8 raid points from just 11 raids.
• As the season has progressed, Manjeet has consistently been providing points and had his best ever performance in the last game against Jaipur Pink Panthers (9 raid points).
• After playing with 3 raiders in their first four games, Patna went with just two main raiders in the match against Jaipur and it worked very well for them.
• Manjeet has been the 2nd best raider for Patna with 29 raid points with Deepak Narwal not far behind with 17.
o He missed out on his maiden Super 10 last night against Jaipur by just 1 raid point.
o Impressively, he also has a raid strike rate of 86 in Do or Die Raids.
• All of Patna’s main raiders have a strike rate above 50.
• This has helped Patna become a very good raiding unit. Only one team in PKL 6 has prevented Patna from scoring more than 20 raid points in a match. That team was Telugu Titans.
