• Jaipur Pink Panthers did a few changes to their defensive lineup last match.

• They replaced right corner Mohit Chhillar with Santhapanaselvam and brought back Sunil Siddhgavali in, after leaving him out in the previous match for Bajirao Hodage.

• Telugu Titans and U Mumba are the only 2 teams that have a better tackle SR in super tackle situations than Pune. 

• They have 2 players in the top 5 defenders of PKL 6 in super tackles, Ravi Kumar and Sandeep Narwal.

PERFORMANCE IN SUPER TACKLE SITUATIONS COULD DETERMINE OUTCOME OF THE MATCH

Deepak Hooda has lacked support as no other raider has even half the raid points that he has. Jaipur’s raiding performance is largely dependent on how he plays.

• However, there is one area that he has largely struggled in. He has a raid SR of only 44 in super tackle situations. It was only in the 30s but it came up due to a super raid in their last match against Tamil Thalaivas.

• He also has a failure rate of 32% in these situations. This is the joint highest (with Monu Goyat) for any raider who has attempted at least 15 raids in super tackle situations in PKL 6.

• This could play right into Pune’s hands as they are one of the strongest teams when it comes to defending in Super Tackle situations.
