Laura Wolvaardt won't let go of any option to score runs, Sneh Rana was brought into the attack and bowled just short which was pulled hard by Laura and she just seem to be getting over the Indians here. The Indian batters didn't finish well with the bat and are now feeling they are 20-30 runs short here and are also fielding very poorly. 

 

In the 11th over, Rajeshwari Gayakwad comes and she is hit for four off the first ball as well. If India don't get the wickets, South Africa are going to get the game away from India very quickly and as I speak, Wolvaardt has creamed it past the cover and mid-off for a four and it seems that the Indians have no clue whatsoever of what's going on.

Wow...what a shot that is from Wolvaardt. If ever a perfect cover drive from a right-hander existed, here is the one to compete with. Pitched up, she moves her front foot ahead and gets the back foot in line with the front and hits it through Cover and Cover-Point for a gorgeous drive. As a blessing to the eyes is what it was

This has been a brilliant over in the second innings, the best so far by all sorts of imagination as Wolvaardt has struck beautifully here, one cover drive and one straight drive and to add to that, a well run double and a single to get 11 runs from the over. She should now be the primary target of the Indian team here

The Indian team has started off well here in their defence of 274 as they have picked up the all-important wicket of Lizelle Lee and given away just 17 runs in the first six overs with the lone wicket coming courtesy of a run-out.

The Indian team couldn't utilise the platform that it had got at the end of the 40th over. They were 223/3 at the end of the 40th with a set Mithali Raj and Harmanpreet Kaur at the crease and big hitters like Pooja Vastrakar, Richa Ghosh, Deepti Sharma and Sneh Rana yet to bat. But they would be disappointing to finish at only 274/7, meaning that India Women could get only 50 off the last 10 and also lost four wickets. 

 

Now, South Africa would need 275 to win this match. Can India defend this total, only time will tell? If they can't defend, they are most likely to go out of the tournament. Hence defending this total is the only option for India

Finally some intent by Harman as instead of getting ahead of the ball and playing predetermined shots, she waits for one ball and places it in the gap between Point and Short-Third. 

 

And four more. This time it was hit straight down the ground and Harman had powered it and was not at all disturbed by the presence of Tryon on the boundary. Nice over for India as 11 come from it

The Indian team has gone past the 250 mark very slowly as they were 223/3 after the 40th over and in the next seven, all they have managed to get is only 32 runs at a dismal rate of 4.5 which is not how things were imagined. They needed to play at least 6 runs per over after the 40th. But more painfully, the Indian team has also lost two wickets

In the air and Mithali Raj was never looking like a player for death overs and trying to hit it over the infield, she hits it in the air and is caught by Tryon for a well made 68 off 84 balls.
