Infosys Technologies is yet to take a decision about the quantum of variable pay it is planning to give to its employees for the fourth quarter of FY12, Nandita Gurjar, senior vice-president and group head (human resource), told Business Standard today.
She said the decision was expected to be taken ‘soon’ and the letters would be issued ‘by the end of this month’. Some of the employees that Business Standard spoke to today also confirmed this. They said the company is expected to announce this on 26 or 27 of this month, though they are ‘not expecting much’, given the company’s performance last quarter.
The Bangalore-based company had already announced to defer the salary hikes for 2012 which it usually announces on April 1 every year.
