250 mins free calling: Airtel launches international roaming packs starting at Rs 1,199

The packs, which are designed for medium duration international trips, start at Rs 1,199 for Singapore & Thailand whereas for US-Canada, UK, the pack is available for Rs 2,999

Bharti Airtel has launched 10-day packs for international roaming (IR) starting at Rs 1,199, wherein the company is giving free unlimited incoming calls along with bundled data and India calling minutes.
 
The packs, which are designed for medium duration international trips, start at Rs 1,199 for Singapore & Thailand whereas for US-Canada, UK, the pack is available for Rs 2,999.
 
The packs offer unlimited free incoming calls, 2GB data and 250 mins of free calling to India and 100 free SMSes, daily. Post the exhaustion of pack data benefits, international roaming data will be charged at Rs 3/MB and outgoing calls to India & local calls to any network will be charged at Rs 3/ min.
 
 
The Sunil Bharti Mittal-owned firm had recently launched affordable IR packs with validity of one day and 30 days, and the new 10 days validity option offers customers greater flexibility to plan their communication budgets when traveling overseas.
 
Airtel also announced that post the exhaustion of pack data benefits, international roaming data will now be charged at just Rs. 3/MB, a reduction of 99 per cent from Rs  650/MB, so that customers can enjoy uninterrupted data usage without having to worry about bill charges.
 
Ajai Puri, Director – Market Operations (India & South Asia), Bharti Airtel said, “These affordable packs will enable users to now stay connected 24x7 without having to worry about high call and data charges while roaming on international networks.
