Selfie is defined by the Oxford dictionary as a photograph that one has taken of oneself. Typically it is one that is taken with a smartphone or webcam and shared via social media.

OPPO, a China-based manufacturer known for selfie-centric smartphones, conducted a survey in association with leading market research company Nielsen on ‘The Selfie Usage Patterns among Indian consumers’ and the findings revealed some interesting facts:
