Located in Gurdaspur , the AISECT Skill Development Centre will be offering various educational and training services to the people with a special emphasis on vocation training. According to AISECT director Siddharth Chaturvedi, “Punjab has always been a key focus area for us and through this centre, as well as the others that we plan to launch shortly across the state, we are endeavouring to make vocational education accessible at the grass root level. Apart from specialised IT courses, we will be offering an array of vocational courses specific to the demands of this region. Training in areas like JCB operations, diesel engine repair, electrical and technical work, etc will be available at the AISECT Centres in Punjab.”
