Allsec Tech expects more biz in Q4

Allsec Technologies Limited, a third-party BPO offering both voice and non-voice services, expects to clinch more deals during the fourth quarter of this fiscal and sustain the 60 per cent growth in profitability by the end of this fiscal.

Adi Saravanan, founder and president of Allsec, said, "We have created better delivery capabilities and visibility in the market place and we expect a lot of things to happen in the fourth quarter."

He said that the company's acquisition of Bangalore-based contact centre B2K Corporation was a key development in the third quarter. B2K, with revenue of $2.5 million-$3 million, has 600 seats and 170 employees.

Chennai-based Allsec added 3 clients in non-voice business and one client in voice business during the quarter.

The company also hired about 200 people during the third quarter. External factors like cancellation of admission tests and other confusions had its impact on its hiring programme. However, it plans to hire more people during the fourth quarter.

At present, it employs 2,000-plus and has set a target to scale up its headcount to 3,000 by the end of March.

Allsec is also planning to strengthen its focus on non-voice business during this year. Non-voice accounts for 15 per cent of the revenue and 85 per cent of the revenue comes from voice. Over 90 per cent of its business comes from the US.
