Allsec Tech to open 1000-seater call centre

To up headcount in nine months

Allsec Technologies will have its Rs 38-crore 1,000-seater call centre inaugurated on July 23. Following the addition of the new facility, Allsec would have 1,700 seats in Chennai, the base for its four centres.
 
Adi Saravanan, founder and president of Allsec Technologies, told a press conference today that it aimed to add another 1,200 jobs over the next nine months to take its total strength to about 3,000 employees.
 
Allsec draws more than 90 per cent of its revenue from US-based clients.
 
This quarter, the company is planning to add business from different geographies such as UK and Australia. The addition of clients from different geographies allow call centres to make better use of infrastructure.
 
Recently, Allsec raised Rs 42.5 crore through a public issue mainly to fund the establishment of it new call centre. Allsec's attrition rate is around 23 per cent to 24 per cent.
