What is Apple WWDC

The Apple Worldwide Developer Conference, or WWDC, is an annual event held every June at Apple's campus in the US. At the event's keynote address, the American technology giant details updates coming with its next iteration of operating systems, and the developer tools that make apps. In 2020, Apple hosted the event in online-only format due to the coronavirus pandemic. Since, the company has shifted to a digital-only format, which enables more developers to participate in sessions. This year, the WWDC keynote address is an online-only event, though a select number of developers have been invited to the Apple Park campus in the US for a viewing event.
