Technology and outsourcing company Aricent today announced plans to expand its global workforce by up to 10 per cent by year end, with a particular emphasis on its India operations.
The company aims to add approximately 800 people over the next three months in various centres around the world. The emphasis for this campaign will be adding additional customer-oriented personnel, including engineers, team leaders and customer support resources, with a high percentage of these new hires being recruited in India.
On October 7, 2008 Aricent also announced that ex-Wipro executive Sudip Nandy will join the company as CEO.
