Asus, a Taiwan-based electronics major, has announced the launch of Zenfone Ares in its home country. Based on the blueprints of Zenfone AR, which was unveiled at the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) 2017, the Zenfone Ares has a lot in common with respect to predecessor, including the artificial reality and virtual reality platforms -- courtesy Google Tango and Daydream projects.
