ATI Technologies unveils premium graphics card

ATI Technologies Inc, a $ 2-billion company that is into visualisation technologies and enjoys 56 per cent of the world's stand-alone graphics market share, recently announced the introduction of its Radeon X800 GTO premium graphics card.

The new Radeon X800 GTO includes massively parallel 3D gaming engine, 256-bit GDDR3 memory interface for lightning fast memory speeds, SmartShader and SmoothVision graphics technologies for exceptional gaming realism, 3Dc compression technology to bring out fine details with minimum memory usage, Videoshader with programmable video performance and HyperZ for lossless Z-Buffer compression that reduces memory bandwidth by up to 25 per cent.

The MRP price of this card is Rs 13,999 (exclusive of taxes) and will be soon available in India this October.
