Infospectrum, a system integrator and software services provider, has announced its pact with Avexus, a California-based firm, as part of its entry into India's rapidly growing aviation market. |
Avexus is a provider of asset management and maintenance, repair & overhaul (MRO) solutions and services with a 130 strong offshore development centre at Nagpur. |
Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, Infospectrum COO Nitin Nistane, said Infospectrum will leverage significant resources and experience in India to serve as Avexus' local solution support and implementation services team. |
"This mutually beneficial partnership expands Infospectrum's solution offering while enabling Avexus a cohesive entry into a rapidly growing region and aviation market," he added. |
Infospectrum will also serve as Avexus' re-seller channel in India to market, sell, implement, and support aviation and aerospace and defence solutions. |
Together Infospectrum and Avexus are targetting 35 per cent of the Indian aviation MRO market over the next three years. |
"Avexus and Infospectrum have business domain expertise in the aviation and aerospace marketplace. Our combined services and solutions allow us to provide value to the Indian market enterprises that manage complex aviation and aerospace assets," said George Zdravecky, Avexus vice president of technology and engineering. |

According to Nistane, "With the recent orders for aircraft estimated at $25 billion, world-class solutions and services will be essential to manage the operations and maintenance activities for these high-value and critical assets." |
