Batch Master eyes 40% from Gujarat

BatchMaster India, an ERP solution provider, which announced its Indian operations by launching its software in the state recently, expects to garner at least 40 per cent of its sale from Gujarat, the hub of process manufacturers.
 
"We are targeting a market share of 15 to 20 per cent of the country's ERP market in the next fiscal of which we expect at least 40 per cent from Gujarat," said Sanjay Panjwani, managing director of BatchMaster India.
 
He added that the software is designed for process manufacturers like pharmaceuticals, neutraceuticals, foods and beverages, cosmetics and personal care, paints and coatings, specialty chemicals and other industrial segments.
 
Panjwani said the ERP market in India is expected to grow at a compounded annual growth rate of 25.2 per cent over the next five years. Currently, the company's turnover is around Rs 10 crore and is expecting it to rise to Rs 100 crore.
 
"The market was Rs 50 crore in 2004, and is forecasted to be over Rs 1,200 crore by 2009. Industry analysis suggests that Indian ERP market for FY 2006 will be of Rs 600 crore and our target is to make our company worth Rs 100 crore," he said.
 
The company has three versions of software "� Enterprise, Standard and Basic. While, the Enterprise version is designed for companies whose turnover is above Rs 100 crore, the Standard Version will cater the need of companies falling between Rs 50 crore and Rs 100 crore and the Basic Version is for the companies worth below Rs 50 crore.
 
BatchMaster is currently based in Indore from where it handles the Gujarat operations. BatchMaster is planning to open its next facility in Mumbai to cater to the needs in south India.
