Borland, Hexaware set up centre of excellence

Borland Software India, a subsidiary of Nasdaq-listed Borland Software Corporation, and Hexaware Technologies have jointly set up a centre of excellence in Chennai.
 
The centre would serve as a technology incubation hub. It would also provide online training and conduct technical seminars and solution demonstrations for software professionals at Hexaware.
 
Addressing a press conference, P K Sridharan, executive director and president, (India operations), Hexaware Technologies, said: "The centre of excellence will equip us to confirm to Borland's software requirements definition and application lifecycle management in the future."
 
Satyen Parikh, managing director, Borland India, said: "We want to ensure that Borland comes up with programs that help address the unique requirements of the market space on which Borland focuses."
 
As part of the global partnership, Borland and Hexaware will also engage in go-to-go market activities which include joint solutions as well as joint selling and marketing activities to provide better value to the customers.
