Brainz diversifies into ITeS, unveils portal

Ahmedabad based advertising and brand management company Brainz Unlimited, has diversified into Information Technology Enables Services (ITES) by launching a website.

The website will serve as a platform for buying and selling.

The portal, gujaratdeals.com, will mainly facilitate sale of second hand goods by connecting buyers and sellers.

Shobit Pant, founder director, Brainz Unlimited, said that the response to the portal has been extremely encouraging with about 30 persons offering to buy or sell goods so far.

The website has been operational for about ten days now.

While the website is completely free for the moment, the company intends to rope in advertisers to meet costs even as buyers and sellers will get to interact free using the portal.

Pant added that buyers and sellers of second hand goods are likely to benefit the most as they will not require to rely upon newspapers, brokers or word of mouth for buying or selling.

"Buyers and sellers can directly interact and strike deals with Brainz Unlimited nowhere in the picture. The website will just act as a facilitator for helping people buy or sell goods," Pant said.

Although there is still no provision for people to use credit cards to buy goods that have been posted on the portal, this is being considered and may be introduced in the future," said Pant.
