CA to be entirely cloud-based

As an IT infrastructure management company, CA Technologies has decided to transform itself into an entirely cloud-based services firm, seeing the new model as a more flexible and optimising way for enterprises to use IT solutions. Manmohan Jain, vice president (software engineering) at India centre, CA Technologies, said, “Today, CA strategy is totally cloud-focused. In the last 12-18 months, we have decided to transform the company into a completely cloud-based model.” He said the company had made six acquistions in the last 18 months for the cloud business, to add to its own strengths in automation, virtualisation and data centre management aspects.
