CADS Software eyes doubling revenue in four yrs

CADS Software India (P) Ltd, a provider of structural and civil engineering software, is planning to double its present employee strength of 350.
 
It also eyes doubling its present revenue of around $4 million (around Rs 17.8 crore) in the next three-four years. CADS Software India is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the UK-based CADS Ltd.
 
Addressing a press conference, Jonathan Frvett, finance director, CADS Ltd, said its Indian arm had grown from an eight-member team to a 350-plus people organisation over the last ten years.
 
He added the company was planning to provide more services across the globe leveraging the capabilities at the Indian centre.
 
K K Jagadish, managing director, CADS Software India, said the company was developing software solutions on AutoCAD platforms. Its software solutions are complementary to AutoCAD.
 
He also added that the company had recently recruited about 45 people from 18 polytechnics in the state. CADS's customers include consulting engineers, civil engineering contractors, builders and governments. Its software solutions also support reinforced concrete detailing service and ground modelling, road and drainage programmes.
 
CADS Ltd has an installed world-wide user base of more than 3500 customers in 74 countries. CADS software applications have been tried and tested on a wide range of projects including buildings, bridges, water treatment plants and power installations.
