CEON Solutions Pvt Ltd, an incubatee of IIM-Ahmedabad Centre for Innovation Incubation and Entrepreneurship, has bagged an order from Essar School for the new version of its flagship product -- i-School.

CEON, which is being funded by Gujarat Venture Finance Limited (GVFL), will integrate two Essar Schools in the state. GVFL had invested Rs 3 crore in the company early this year.

"CEON is dedicated to partnering the schools with novel technology solutions to meet their unique requirements. The latest version of i-School aims at further integrating and unifying the parents, students, teachers and school management through futuristic features. With GVFL's investment, we have now established a national presence and will leverage it to drive wider adoption of new i-School across India," says Abhay Panjiyar, chief executive officer, CEON Solutions.

According to Vishnu Varshney, CEO of GVFL, the beauty of i-School lies in its flexible architecture and ability to integrate a school's curriculum irrespective of the pedagogy, course structure or size of the school.

GVFL sources say several schools across the country including, Sanskaar Valley School, Bhopal (SVS), Col Satsangi Kiran Memorial School, New Delhi, are using the earlier version of i-School.
