ll will be expanding its enterprise technology portfolio for the small and medium businesses (SMBs) in India by rolling out two more products by the second quarter of next year, according to its global vice-president (SMB group) Tim Griffin.
Announcing the launch of ProSupport Mobility, a modular asset and data protection services here on Monday, Griffin said the $61-billion company would be introducing two more web-based services for the Indian SMB customers – ProManage and ProConsult – which monitor and manage IT networks, prevent system issues before they occur and help customers better manage their data.
“SMB is an over $350-billion revenue opportunity globally, while it is about $3.2 billion (registered SMBs) addressable market in India, according to a recent report by AMI-Partners. We believe the Indian market to grow faster, and from our perspective it is hugely attractive,” he said, adding the SMB sector accounts for one-thirds of Dell’s overall business.
Dell, which has 10 sites that reach out to SMBs across 200 cities in India, will now expand its footprint in the country through channel partners to enable them to provide service support to the customers, he said, while declining to share more details.
