City-based animation, game art and entertainment company DQ Entertainment (International) Limited has entered into licensing agreements to merchandise ‘The Jungle Book’ in Israel.
The pact has been signed with Osem Investments Limited, the Israeli subsidiary of Nestle SA (Nestle) and a food production and distribution company, and Burger Ranch franchise, a fast food chain.
Under the agreement, Nestle would merchandise The Jungle Book across a variety of Nestle products, which include a specially commissioned sticker collection incorporating the four main characters of the series (Mowgli, Baloo, Bageerah and Sherkhan). These stickers will be distributed as a free additional insert in up to 50,000 cereal multipacks of the Nestle brand, Honey Nut Cheerios.
The Jungle Book related products will be available in 107 Burger Ranch chain of stores as either free promotional gifts or preselected purchased items.
Appoints new director
The company meanwhile has appointed Rashida Adenwala as additional director, a release said.
