ELoad to launch mobile phone prepaid services

ELoad Services Private Limited, a Hyderabad-based electronic mobile prepaid distribution company, will be launching prepaid services for mobile phones under the brand name 'ELoad PrePay'.
 
The solution offers electronic delivery system for prepaid products on point-of-sale (POS) terminals and will formally be launched by Andhra Pradesh chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy on August 10, 2006.
 
ELoad has designed the software while the POS terminals have been manufactured by Linkwell Telesystems (P) Ltd.
 
ELoad PrePay system involves the use of a terminal at retail premises like hotels, supermarkets and food marts. The terminal prints a voucher for the prepaid service and issues the product.
 
The voucher carries the same information as the physical card. ELoad will distribute airtime of telecom services provided by Reliance, Idea, Hutch, BSNL, Airtel and Tata.
 
According to J Vinay Sagar, managing director of ELoad Services, "The retailer does not require any inventory as the prepaid products are delivered electronically to the customers."
 
ELoad plans to foray into other services like bill payments, movie tickets distribution and the likes. It intends to extend its operations to other states soon.
