eTQM to set up KPO centre in Hyd

eTQM College, a Dubai-based institution, in partnership with Hyderabad-based e-learning and content solutions provider C&K Management Limited, will set up a captive KPO centre in Hyderabad. The centre is targeted to go live on December 1, 2007.
 
The centre will deliver structured e-learning courseware for the masters and bachelors programmes besides professional programmes.
 
Additionally, its staff will assist eTQM College in the publishing of several international journals in excellence, e-magazines and maintain a number of portals.
 
It will have 24 members to start with, and expand in size along with increased requirements of the college.
 
"Our plans in setting up the KPO centre go beyond catering to in-house content and knowledge needs. We intend offering content and digitising services for customers across West Asia, especially government customers," Narime Hadj Hamou, dean (learning technologies, eTQM, said in a press release.
 
It will be part of eTQM College's e-learning centre of excellence and would offer end-to-end e-learning services "� from consultancy to courseware creation "� with the commissioning of this captive centre, he added.
 
C&K Management will invest between Rs 50 lakh and Rs 1 crore in setting up the captive centre.
 
The 3-5 year contract is valued at R 15 crore, and the scope of the contract may go up, he said.
