Fidelity, FMR hike Satyam stake to 7.63%

Satyam Computer Services today informed the NSE that Fidelity International (FIL), a Bermuda-baseed corporation and its direct and indirect subsidiaries, and FMR Corporation, an American company and its direct and indirect subsidiaries, have acquired 25,00,000 shares, aggregating to 0.78% of the share capital of the company on June 23, 2005, through market purchase.

"The shareholding of Fidelity International and FMR after the said acquisition is 2,44,04,807 shares, aggregating to 7.63% of the share capital of the company," the release added.
