Oppo, the Chinese smartphone-maker, joined the smartphone party late, but it did create some buzz with it's innovative N1, which boasted of a swivel camera - something that was new and gained attention. After that, it launched several devices, but none of them could make a splash in the market. And, to make its presence felt in the Indian market, Oppo recently released Find 7, a device which the company claims comes with some revolutionary features.
Build and design
Our review piece was a white Oppo Find 7, which looks similar to most Android phablets. But I would not like to take anything away from the fact that it feels glossy, smooth, and sleek. If you are one who likes details, then here it is - 152.6mm tall, 75mm wide, and 9.2mm thick.

Camera
Touted as one of the best in the category, the smartphone houses a 13-megapixel (MP) primary camera with LED flash and super zoom, the Pure Image 2.0 software makes 50MP shots possible by taking 10 consecutive shots in a very quick time and combines the best four image into a 50MP image. The camera also can record 4K videos. The device also boasts of a 5MP front-facing camera with BSI sensor. One of the best front cameras for selfie lovers.
Storage, connectivity and battery
The Find 7 has internal memory of 32GB, expandable up to 128GB via microSD card. The smartphone has 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11, NFC, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi Direct, GPS, USB port and so on for connectivity. The device is fuelled by 3,000mAh battery with a feature that allows you to charge the battery up to 75 per cent in half an hour.
Verdict
Find 7 is definitely an awesome smartphone. The most impressive part is its camera with super zoom option and the luxurious storage space. I would have given it a thumbs-up had it been priced anywhere below Rs 30,000 but at Rs 37,700, it might not be a great buy considering the many other options you have in the market at a much lower cost.
