Goldstone launches IPTV services in Thailand

Hyderabad-based Goldstone Technologies has launched commercial internet protocol television (IPTV) operations in Thailand with Synap Media & Infotech Company, a group focussed on having strong presence in the hospitality industry in the country. Goldstone has set up global IPTV services targeted at non-resident Indians.

"The focus for the IPTV services in Thailand would be on the tourism and hospitality industry to leverage the growth in travel by Indians to the country," said Nandan Kundetkar, chairman, Goldstone.

The company has also received an order for 3,000 set-top boxes to be supplied to subscribers in Thailand over the next four months. Goldstone is expects to sign about 75,000 subscribers in the first full year of operations.
