GTL buys Malaysia-based ADA for $25mn |

Network services major GTL has acquired Malaysia-based network planning and optimisation firm ADA Cellworks in an all-cash deal of $25 million. The acquisition is subject to conditions and regulatory approvals, and will conclude in the next few weeks. "With the acquisition of ADA Cellworks, we have progressed further on our inorganic growth strategy, and strengthened our presence in the high-value segments of network planning and optimisation," Manoj Tirodkar, chairman and managing director, GTL, said. The acquisition will strengthen relationships with leading telecom technology providers like Nokia Siemens Networks, Alcatel Lucent, Motorola, Ericsson and Huawei, he added.
