HCL launches specific solutions for industries

Targeting the small and medium-scale business houses in the textiles, manufacturing, automobiles segments in the region, HCL Infosystems Ltd, together with the independent software vendor are bringing in complete end-to-end segment specific solution for the growing industrial base.

The information-enabling company today showcased a comprehensive range of customised computer solutions specifically designed to suit the demands of the small and medium business segment in Chandigarh today.

"In the small and medium enterprise space, the need for improved productivity, security and power efficiency yet keeping the total cost of ownership lower, is all the more imperative, given the rapidly changing needs and the intense competition of the business environment today," said Executive Vice-President, HCL Infosystems Ltd, George Paul.

HCL's comprehensive range of offerings in the small and medium scale business space includes a specific 'small business solution' , which comprises of the operating system, file and folder maintenance, mail messaging, database, security system, fax, printing etc.

"Our tie-up with ICICI banks provide tailor made financing schemes for this segment. As per the tie-up, the industry customer is entitled for funding from Rs 50,000 onwards for financing of IT products for a period of two years, making it very easy to own and attractive for the customers," added Paul.

Under HCL's independent software vendor initiative- LEAP, the company provides the complete vertical specific business validated solution stack to the small and medium business customers.
