Mobile technology is one of the weakest links in the security of our computing and communications networks – it is the biggest risk to leaking, hacking and losing government data. And cyber criminals are aware of this. Given these risks, it is important to ask if an organisation is doing all it can to defend against these.
In July and August 2014, BlackBerry commissioned a study covering around 800 individuals in six countries with ultimate governance, risk and compliance. Participants were from organisations with 1,000 or more employees (500-plus in Australia), and represented a cross-section of companies and sectors deploying a variety of mobile operating systems and management protocols.
