Global technology solutions provider Hewlett-Packard (HP) has kicked off its worldwide marketing campaign, a programme that also covers the Asia Pacific (APAC) region, with a special emphasis on India and China.

The Palo Alto-headquartered company intends to spend "several hundreds of millions of dollars" for the campaign and expects to drive growth through introduction of new products, services and offerings.

HP President (personal systems group) Todd Bradley said, "The campaign will be conducted over different media, including newspapers, TV channels and the internet. This will help us register growth and increase our market presence across the globe."

The campaign would also be rolled out in India by the end of this month, while that in China would be done by early June. (The correspondent's US trip has been sponsored by Hewlett-Packard)
