Hewlett-Packard (HP) has launched new communication, collaboration and networking solutions to drive growth for small and mid size businesses (SMBs). The company introduced new HP ProLiant G7 blades and servers that enable SMBs to efficiently protect data and manage operations. These offerings enable SMBs to streamline communications and operations while deploying more efficient routes to market in order to expand business opportunities.

"Three new HP ProLiant scale-up servers deliver a number of innovations in automation that allow clients to speed application delivery, more effectively utilize IT resources and achieve improved return on investment. Customers are asking for solutions that remove the layers of complexity and excess equipment that have sprawled across their environments so that IT can focus on innovation rather than operations," said Rajesh Dhar, director, industry standard servers, HP India.

The company also launched new HP solutions that advance the convergence of servers, storage, networking and management including HP V1410 Switch and HP StorageWorks P2000 G3 SAS Modular Array (MSA).

"Today and throughout the year, HP is bolstering its Converged infrastructure strategy with ground breaking enterprise solutions across every area of the data center, resulting in greater levels of simplification, performance and savings for our clients. Data-intensive enterprise workloads are driving a massive increase in scalability, reliability and performance requirements. To perform optimally, servers must have a balanced architecture across CPU, input/output (I/O) and memory. Improve internal operations and productivity," Dhar added.

By unifying messaging, collaboration and telephony technology, SMBs can capitalize on mobile devices and the flexibility of interactive online work environments. According to Dhar, HP solutions will help SMBs drive connectivity and productivity for employees, partners and clients.
