Hewlett-Packard (HP) and Redington India have invested Rs 3.5 crore to start the Indigo Digital Press demo centre in Chennai, influenced by the fact that India is the second fastest growing market for printing, next to China. |
Addressing a press conference Steve Donegal, business manager of HP-Asia Pacific, said, "The Chennai centre is the fifth such centre for HP, with two in United States, one each in Singapore and Europe." |
This centre will focus on providing a complete pre-sales experience and a better understanding of the Indigo Digital Press and its benefits for the increasing number of customers in the country, he added. |
The demo centre will enable customers to test their own files on the substrates that they currently use in their offset process and mix pantone spot colours on the ink mixing station to address the client needs of maintaining their brand. |
