IBM India launches Vizag operations

IBM India, as part of its plan to expand footprint in the country, announced the launch of operations in Vishakapatnam.

The IT major is planning to open centres in six cities including Nashik, Surat, Bhubaneshwar, Jamshedpur, Jaipur and Madurai in addition to operations in Chandigarh, Nagpur, Coimbatore, Goa, Lucknow, Bhopal and Lucknow.

"The entry into Vizag will enable IBM to strengthen the foothold and cater  to the unique requirements of clients across the city and its neighboring markets," said Lingraju Sawkar, VP, global small & medium business, IBM India, South Asia.
