ICA seeks 8% duty on mobile accessories

Indian Cellular Association (ICA) is seeking a duty reduction on mobile accessories. The association is planning to suggest a duty of 8% on mobile accessories as against the current level of 34%.

The association is also looking at standardisation of mobile products in an attempt to check differences between original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and counterfeit products.
