ICT will transform country's future: Narayana Murthy

Information and communication technology would change the future course of the country, particularly in energy and measurement of carbon emissions, founder-chairman of Infosys Technologies N R Narayana Murthy said today. Speaking at Infocom 2010-11 here, Murthy said, "Information and communication technology (ICT) would be used for digital marketisation that translate into use of energy and measurement of carbon emissions". He said that with the help of ICT, there was a need to relook at traditional models of business management where "democratisation of innovation will be the new mantra".
