The International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad (IIIT-H), is incubating three product-based ideas – Dristicare, a tool to analyse fundus images of retina for diabetics, a music feature analysis, and Sethus, a text-to-speech and speech-to-text product for English and 23 Indian languages, said its director Rajeev Sangal.
“The three products are in the field test and development stage and are expected to see progress in the next one year. Social applications of our research are also very important for us. The agricultural advisory system of eSagu has been helping thousands of farmers earn more from their crops for over four years. The project itself is being considered for launch all over the country,” Sangal told mediapersons.
