Infosys, Microsoft launch catalytic centre

Infosys Technologies and Microsoft Corporation today unveiled the catalytic IT concept centre at Infosys campus in Bangalore today.

According to a release issued by Infosys to the BSE today, the portfolio of solutions and services under catalytic IT enables enterprise businesses and their employees to realise a simplified, flexible IT environment that lowers the total cost of ownership and enables rapid change and innovation.

"The catalytic IT concept centre was inaugurated by Jean-Philippe Courtois, president of Microsoft International. Ravi Venkatesan, chairman of Microsoft Corporation India, and Kris Gopalakrishnan, chief operating officer of the company, were also present on the occasion," the release added.

The catalytic IT solution and services suite addresses four pivotal IT business issues: legacy modernisation, connected business, infrastructure optimization and enterprise resource planning (ERP) consolidation, the release added.
