Integreo, a business process outsourcing (BPO) company, has announced that it has changed its corporate name to Zavata Inc.

Due to a recent court ruling on unintentional trademark infringement with a similarly named BPO entity, the company must change its recently chosen name, the company said in a press statement.

Its Indian operations in Hyderabad, earlier known as Integreo India (P) Limited, will henceforth be called as Zavata India (P) Limited. Zavata will continue to pursue ongoing acquisitions in the healthcare industry, the press release added.

"We were initially disappointed with the verdict. But now we are looking forward to assuming the new company name, Zavata, soon to be a distinguished brand in the BPO marketplace," Satish Sanan, chairman and chief executive officer of Zavata said.

Integreon, another global BPO provider, had obtained a judgement and permanent injunction in the United States District Court against Integreo Inc for using a "confusingly similar business name and trademark".

"The outlook of our company has never been more positive. We are focussing on our premier healthcare offerings and will move vigorously to reinforce our company as a leader in the full-service BPO industry," Sanan said.
