Intex Technologies (India) is targeting an over 80 per cent growth in its turnover at Rs 800 crore in 2009-10, over the previous year.
"Despite the worldwide recession, our company has grown spectacularly and of the targeted turnover, more than 70 per cent will be contributed by computer peripherals and PC business," its Eastern Zonal Sales Head Ranjit Bhattacharjee said here today.
A 13-year-old IT hardware, mobile phones and electronics company, it has manufacturing units at Jammu and at Badri in Himachal Pradesh, Bhattacharjee said.
He said, "During the last seven years, the company's turnover has increased from Rs 32 crore in 2001-02 to Rs 466 crore in 2008-09 at a compounded annual growth rate of 46 per cent."
From West Bengal, the company is targeting a turnover of Rs 40 crore, which is approximately 80 per cent increase over the last fiscal.
The company has diverse products in the market starting from desktops to netbooks, multimedia speakers, and mobile phones.
