Intransa, a privately held US-based IP storage solutions provider, has announced plans to expand its India development team and its sales and marketing team. |
Intransa currently has 50 developers at a development unit operated by Symphony Services in Pune under a BOT contract and the strength will touch 100 by end of this year. |
The expansion of the sales and marketing team will run along with the opening of new offices in major cities in India. |
Intransa also announced appointment of Vaidyanathan R Iyer as country manager for India and has promoted B Chandrashekar to director, International Marketing. |
The company had in January announced plans to invest close to $4 million in India during 2005 as part of its expansion plans. |
Intransa since November 2003 has invested close to $10 million in India. The company has Kumar Malavalli, one of the global experts in Storage Area Network, on its Technical Advisory Board. |
